Today's card is a Mojo Monday design. Here is this weeks inspiration:
I haven't played in a while, but I had this round image all ready to go. The half circle was a bit of a booger to get even. Here is my interpretation:
My card is missing a little piece under the bow. I think I am the only one on the planet that doesn't have a cutting maching....Sizzix, Cricuit, Cuttlebug, etc. I have trying to decide what to get. After seeing PTI's new dies, I want one even more!
Anyone have any suggestions? I am leaning towards Cuttlebug.

awh,, cute! The birds are so nice!
ReplyDeletemy suggestion would be either the big shot or the cuttlebug. The only this the big shot can do that the cuttlebug cannot is cut larger files. But i have a cuttlebug and a cricut and definitly my cuttlebug gets WAY more love and attention!! :) cute card, BTW
ReplyDeleteYour card is really cute and gorgeous. I would recommend the BigShot. I have one for 3 years now, and love that machine.
ReplyDeleteOh, Danell, I love, love, love this card! So, so, so cute!! I hate to disagree with Ingrid, but I'd recommend a Cuttlebug. It's probably just a case of what you're used to, but the Cuttlebug takes up less room because it folds up, it has a handle and is lightweight making it portable, and (I think) it's cheaper and easy to get with a coupon at Michaels, A.C. Moore, or Hobby Lobby. All the dies work in it, it's just a matter of the "sandwich". If you get one, I'd also recommend getting the tan embossing mats that Spellbinders makes. You'll want them if you decide to buy any Nestabilities or (I imagine) the new PTI dies. There. That's my humble opinion. (As for the Cricut -- wait on it. It's expensive. Fun, but expensive and, frankly, can't do quite as much as the Cuttlebug. You have more cutting options, but it can't emboss. There. And that's my final opinion for the day!)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely go with the Cuttlebug. I have both cricut and cuttlebug and my bug does get more use. I am waiting to get my Sure Cuts a Lot software and then I will probably use my Cricut more for my layouts. The bug is great for cards though. I use mine ALL the time. It's small and stores away in a limited amount of space.
ReplyDeleteI really like your card too! The colors are fabulous!
